There is a $20 registration fee for the event, payable through the WCA Stripe payment system. Please note that even after payment, registrations need to be manually approved before appearing on the registration list, so you may still not be fully confirmed immediately after payment. Please keep an eye out for the e-mail saying you have been approved. Registration is on a first-come first-serve and the same will go for the waitlist once registration fills up. Please do not register unless you intend on competing as it will open up a spot for another competitor who does intend on competing.
We will also be accepting cash at the venue. If you see this, please try and add that you'll be paying cash at the venue. We 100% prefer online payment though!!
There is a **120 competitor limit to the competition. Please register as soon as possible if you plan on coming! Registration closes at the end of the day on December 1st. We will grant refunds to those who let us know by November 24th, but no refunds are granted after that date.
This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to look at CubingUSA's Competitor Tutorial.

Below is the campus map. The Competition is being held in the Wheelock Student Center, which is #54 located right by the campus Main Entrance, on the bottom right. There is also a link to the map that has names of buildings that go with the numbers. PARK IN P1! There will be signs leading you to the competiton once you get in the building. It shouldn't be that hard to find.
This competition will be sponsored by SpeedCubeShop! If you have not checked out their store already, they are based on the West Coast and have great customer service, prices, and much more.
They will be providing the prizes, as well as puzzles for the raffle! More information on the raffle will be available in the Pre-Competition e-mail send out a few days before the competition date!
Unfortunately, SpeedCubeShop will not be selling puzzles at the event, but they have very fast shipping, especially if you're located on the west coast (from my experience).
Once we hit our 120 competitor limit, we will not be closing registration, we will simply not be approving registrations unless other competitor's say they cannot make it. Once you register after we hit our limit, you will need to wait until you get an e-mail saying that your registration was ACCEPTED.
If you do not receive this email, you will not be allowed to compete. If you pay, that will not speed up any process, you will simply get refunded if you do not make it onto the registration list.
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a combined round (see Regulation 9g).
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
