There is a $20 registration fee for the event, payable through the WCA Stripe payment system. Your registration will not be confirmed (moved from the waiting list) until payment has been completed. Please note that even after payment, registrations need to be manually approved before appearing on the registration list, so you may still not be fully confirmed immediately after payment.
There is a 120 competitor limit to the competition. Please register as soon as possible if you plan on coming! Registration closes at the end of the day on September 16th. We will grant refunds to those who let us know by September 16th, but no refunds are granted after that date.
This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to look at CubingUSA's Competitor Tutorial.

Below is the campus map. The Competition is being held in the Wheelock Student Center, which is #52 located right by the campus Main Entrance, on the bottom right. There is also a link to the map that has names of buildings that go with the numbers. PARK IN P1! There will be signs leading you to the competiton once you get in the building. It shouldn't be that hard to find.
This competition will be sponsored by SpeedCubeShop! If you have not checked out their store already, they are based on the West Coast and have great customer service, prices, and much more.
They will be providing the prizes, as well as puzzles for the raffle! More information on the raffle will be available in the Pre-Competition e-mail send out a few days before the competition date!
Unfortunately, SpeedCubeShop will not be selling puzzles at the event, but they have very fast shipping, especially if you're located on the west coast (from my experience).
We are no longer taking any additions to the waitlist. The next Puget Sound Competition will be on December 2! Look out for the competition on the WCA Competition page in the next few weeks!
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
